Set the maximum number of questions.
Click "Generate" to create the survey.
You can edit the AI-generated questions if needed.
Add conditional logic to display questions based on specific criteria.
Include images above question text for richer context.
Customize all text elements (subtext, legends, CTAs) and enable option shuffling to avoid response bias.
Personalize survey language into 50+ languages based on users' app language preferences.
Multilingual responses are automatically translated into English while preserving the original text.
AI-analysis is performed on all multilingual responses.
Use personalization to boost response rates:
Boost response rates by personalizing questions:
Use user attributes: E.g., "Hey Jack, do you have a minute?"
Use event properties: E.g., "How would you rate your 'iPhone 15' purchase experience?'
Implement personalization using liquid tags. For more information, refer to the personalization documentation for details.
Blitzllama supports all major mobile and web platforms. If you haven't integrated Blitzllama yet, refer to the integration documentation.
You can also launch surveys as link surveys and distribute via Email or WhatsApp.
Tip: Link surveys are ideal for quick feedback from segmented user groups outside your app.
Precisely control which users see surveys:
By default, surveys are shown to all users.
To refine targeting, you can:
Add user attribute conditions.
Upload a CSV of user IDs.
Use cohorts from tools like Mixpanel, Segment, or Amplitude.
Example: Target users who completed a new feature onboarding to understand their first impressions.
Use triggers to display surveys at the optimal moment in the user experience:
Select from your configured triggers in the dropdown.
Prioritize surveys if multiple are set on a single trigger.
Best Practice: Trigger surveys immediately after a key action, like completing a purchase, for higher response rates.
Wait period: Set the minimum days between surveys to avoid overwhelming users. This applies across all Blitzllama surveys, ensuring users are not overwhelmed with frequent surveys.
Repeat frequency: Control how often a user sees the same survey:
Number of times viewed.
Response to the first question.
Completion of the survey.
Sample Size: Default is 500, but you can set no limits too (i.e. collect infinitely).
End Date: Set a specific end date if needed.
Daily Limits: Restrict the number of responses per day.
Before launching, head to the Settings Tab to customize the survey’s look and feel:
All colors are customizable. You can create custom themes.
Web surveys have additional options: positions, custom CSS, and fonts.
For link surveys, you can customize the survey URL.
Keep Surveys Short: Aim for under 10 questions to maximize completion.
Mix Question Types: Combine ratings and open-ended questions for rich insights.
Survey Timing: Trigger surveys contextually (e.g., post-action).
Analyze & Act: Use feedback to iterate and improve features.
